Foster Parents Night Out (FPNO)

FPNO provides foster parents with one evening of respite for all of the children in their home.  Volunteers receive training and undergo background checks prior to participating in a FPNO event.  FPNO is generally a late afternoon and early evening program filled with a variety of activities, games and crafts.  The goal is to have enough organizations and volunteers so that we can host 1 FPNO each month in order to give foster parents a much needed break.  Get information about Foster Parents night out by contacting:

     Art Builds Families

Every child needs a loving, supportive, and nurturing family. Yet many Oregon children are still looking for their “forever” home; they now live in the state’s foster-care system.

The Heart Gallery of Oregon is here to help them. It is a traveling display of photographs taken by professional photographers that capture the spirit and personality of children awaiting adoption. On its statewide travels, the Gallery reaches out to Oregonians, asking them to open their homes and hearts.
